Cameron Interstate provides freight services to some of Australia’s largest manufacturers and retailers. The new facility located in Edinburgh Parks, will provide modern, efficient space with an end value exceeding $6.5 million.
“We are delighted to be able to acquire this site from the Urban Renewal Authority
for the purposes of delivering the new facility for Cameron Interstate.”

C&G industrial Spokesperson Mr Mark Brammy said
The lease incorporates some 6,200sqm of high clearance warehouse, awning and
corporate office accommodation. The development will also provide significant
external concrete hardstand area, recessed loading docks and sprinkled fire protection.

“This agreement provides Cameron Interstate the ability to improve the service it
provides its major corporate clients nationally, and the needs of its local customers in
a responsive manner The location within the City of Salisbury provides a number of environmental sustainable initiatives including water sensitive urban design and stormwater re-use schemes which attract both our firm and Camerons."

“In addition to those environmental initiatives already included within the
development, Cameron Interstate will be incorporating C-bus building management
into the facility to reduce operational expenses and power usage.”

Mr Brammy explained

“Commercial & General are local developers with an intimate understanding of our
clients needs locally and ensuring integration on a national scale. We are delighted to
have provided a great business case for Cameron’s to commit to South Australia."

There is a large long term supply of Industrial land that is available at reasonable
prices in the north of Adelaide and that is what assisted us in meeting Cameron’s
price objectives. The government had foresight some years ago to open significant
amounts of industrial land in the Outer north that is actually useable so these things
can be achieved, whilst then focusing on higher use infill sites changing use closer to
the city.”
“This commercial arrangement wouldn’t be able to be achieved if the land were a
higher cost.”

Mr Brammy remarked

Camerons Interstate stated “Our business is all about on time delivery, and meeting
a promise to customers. We chose Commercial & General as a standout Industrial
developer to achieve that goal”
